Our Review: Blue Moon Brewing is an all American brewery. In fact, they got their start on Opening Day as the Sandlot Brewery inside Coors Field; it certainly doesn’t get much more American than baseball. Blue Moon’s legacy dates back over two decades so you know the brew you’re going to get is the real deal, tried and true; not something your brother’s friend’s cousin made in their basement…we < g class="gr_ gr_41 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="41" data-gr-id="41">mean< /g> microbrewery. Since 1995, Blue Moon’s brews have gone gangbusters popular from coast to coast. The fact that it made the Workbox Staffing beer blog should be proof of that!

Why < g class="gr_ gr_39 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="39" data-gr-id="39">We Like< /g> It: All that glitters is gold right? Well in the case of this beer, it’s true. We liked that this beer wasn’t just fluff, it’s just a beer doing what beer is supposed to do. This beer is simple and reminded us to appreciate the small victories in life like: going to the fridge and finding an adequate amount of milk for your cereal, freshly brewed coffee in the break room, or even seeing that nice, shady spot in the parking lot waiting with open arms for your car. Go ahead, Reuben, leave that Snickers in your glove box today.

< br>

Why We Don’t Like It: Drinking this beer was a lot like how we imagine meeting Guy Fieri, kinda fun but also makes you reconsider the things in life that get you excited. Being a “Brewer’s Select” brew, we kind of felt like this beer was the “try hard” kid from high school who always liked to remind the teacher about the test she forgot to give last week. Sometimes good branding works, but in this < g class="gr_ gr_42 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" id="42" data-gr-id="42">case< /g> we were left a bit underwhelmed. “Select” beer should stand out a little, but at least we survived this review. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it.

Pairs Well < g class="gr_ gr_35 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="35" data-gr-id="35">With:< /g> Pickup basketball, your great Aunt Betty’s surprise visit, HR webinars, looking for your “misplaced” phone for the fourth time this week, typing while talking, and putting together an IKEA chair without the instructions*.

< i>* Heck, even with the instructions. < /i>
