Our Review: If you like locally sourced, organic ingredients handmade from scratch in small batches with love (pun definitely intended) then Love’s Ice Cream is perfect for your sweet tooth. We loved the unique flavors Love’s serves up, while you can still find the classics like Vanilla Bean and Chocolate, you’ll see some out of the box flavors as well like: Roasted Strawberry Balsamic Sorbet, Blueberry Lavender, and Salted Caramel. These flavors also rotate on the reg, so there’s always something new to try. Literally, everything Love’s makes looked delicious, and we had to physically restrain ourselves from asking for one of everything. Heck, give us one of everything!
Why We Like It: We love seeing local businesses collaborating, Love’s is no exception when it partnered with Madcap Coffee to create today’s flavor. We’d like to think this ice cream is pulling double duty by not only successfully fulfilling our usual hankering for ice cream as well as caffeinating us, right? We’re going to go with yes, the coffee in the coffee ice cream still keeps its energy increasing java magic. Along with mouth-watering ice cream, Love’s serves up a variety of treats that are sure to please anyone. If traditional dairy ice cream isn’t your thing, you can choose from non-dairy gelato or sorbet. Love’s also serves up ice cream cocktails or floats with their craft sodas. Want to dress up that ice cream? Make your flavor of choice a sundae with your choice of brownies, cookies, hot fudge, and caramel. Finally, if you still can’t decide what to get, don’t worry, you can get a flight and sample six flavors at once.
