< strong style="background-color: transparent;">Intro: Welcome back to Friday Beer Blogs! Congrats on making it to the weekend! As promised, this week we’re reviewing Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager. You’ll feel like a Founding Father with one sip.
Beverage: Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager
Brewed In: St. Louis, MO
ABV: 5.4%
Beer Rating: 76
Our Review: This brew is so patriotic you can practically hear the Star Spangled Banner or George Washington rallying the troops at Valley Forge or see a bald eagle flying between two Grumman F-14 Tomcats with fireworks going off behind them just by popping the cap. Merica’ am I right? In all seriousness, Budweiser is doing great things for veterans with this tasty beer, which is why we like it.
Why We Like It: Have you ever wondered what freedom tastes like? Look no further than this red, white, and blue original! Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager was specially brewed by Budweiser’s own veterans and, to continue the long-standing support of American veterans, Budweiser will be donating a portion of proceeds sold to benefit Folds of Honor – a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to military funds. As of this year, Budweiser has raised < em>$14 million < /em>in support of the organization. Now that’s something we can stand up and salute. < br>< br>
Why We Don’t Like It: This a thick chest hair kind of beer so if your not looking to grow any more chest hair this isn’t your product. If you’re not a beer drinker and the most exciting part about this collaboration is the rustic, vintage bottle – keep searching the shelves. I know there are some beer fanatics out there who may feel a bit like Parker from < em>Gold Rush < /em>on the Discovery Channel. In this episode: Parker has discovered a big nugget on the Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager, but for those of us who enjoy the more sweet side of adult beverages keep mining for gold, your blog will come.
Pairs Well With: Backyard barbecues, the NFL preseason, the NFL postseason blues, looking at the list of school supplies your kid needs, picking out the best tie for your interview, binge-watching Gold Rush on the Discovery Channel, thanking a veteran.
Brew On Deck: Kona Brewing Big Wave Golden Ale
