Our Review: It’s 5’o clock somewhere has never been more accurate than when we first sipped this beer. When the Workbox Marketing team isn’t worrying about shark-infested offices, it’s a good bet they’re drinking Landshark Lager. Whether the beach is down the street or your landlocked, this beer promises island vibes and good times. This brew was meant to extend summer just a bit longer, so we happily obliged. If you need us, you can find us somewhere on a beach with a cooler full of Landshark Lager. But please, don’t need us.
Why We Like It: What do you call a fish without an eye? A “fsh”! What do you call someone with a bottle of Landshark Lager in their hand? FIN-tastic. Okay, we’re done DIVING for fish-related puns (that was the last one – we promise). This beer is crisp, light, and, overall, delicious. We definitely recommend it for your next adventure, whether it’s on dry land or on the water.
Why We Don’t Like It: I don’t know about you, but things seem a little fishy around the office this afternoon. Landshark is equivalent to being terrified of entering shark-infested waters on vacation, so you find yourself staying poolside all week long. Only to end up feeling like you didn’t get the full experience on vacation. This beer fell short of expectations but, hey at least you didn’t land in the jaws of a hungry flesh-eating shark!
Pairs Well With: Spikeball, fish puns, fish jokes, any fish related things, that “one last” trip to the beach this summer, filing I9 forms, over-priced hiking sandals, vacuuming sand out of your car, getting Jimmy Buffet’s classic: Margaritaville stuck in your head, scheduling phone interviews and setting your watch to island time.
