Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Assemblers in Saline, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable being on their feet. As an Assembler, you will assemble finished products and sub-assemblies while following work instructions and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Assemble products according to work instructions and customer specifications.
Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and other fasteners.
Use electric or air-powered torque wrenches and screw guns.
Assemble boxes, cases, and other materials as needed.
Monitor parts and supplies at your workstation.
Inspect completed work for quality and report any defects or equipment issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers.
Follow written and verbal instructions and all safety procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Steel-toe shoes required.
Must be dependable and have reliable attendance.
Overtime may be required.
