1st Shift - Assembler  Location: Elkhart, IN  Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday  Pay: $18.00 per hour  Pay Increase: $18.50 per hour after 90 days Job Summary Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with a company that produces mirrors for commercial vehicles? We're seeking an Assembler to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling commercial vehicle mirror systems from individual components, including mirror housings, wiring, and electronic components. You'll also help prepare completed products for shipment by kitting and moving finished products to their designated areas. What You'll Be DoingAs an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include: -Mirror Assembly: Assemble commercial vehicle mirrors by installing housings, wires, electronic components, and other components according to established procedures and specifications.-Quality & Inspection: Inspect assembled components throughout the production process to ensure parts are properly installed, connected, and meet quality standards.-Kitting & Packaging: Organize and kit completed mirror assemblies and prepare finished products for the next stage of production or shipping.-Material Handling: Move components, kits, and finished products to designated areas while maintaining an organized and efficient production flow.-In addition, you will also be expected to follow production instructions, maintain a clean and safe workstation, communicate quality or production issues to leadership, and follow all company safety and quality procedures.
