Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Assemblers in Saline, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable being on their feet. As an Assembler, you will assemble finished products and sub-assemblies while following work instructions and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assemble products according to work instructions and customer specifications.
- Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and other fasteners.
- Use electric or air-powered torque wrenches and screw guns.
- Assemble boxes, cases, and other materials as needed.
- Monitor parts and supplies at your workstation.
- Inspect completed work for quality and report any defects or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and all safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Steel-toe shoes required.
- Must be dependable and have reliable attendance.
- Overtime may be required.
