Job Summary
We're seeking a dependable Light Assembler
to join a growing manufacturing team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling small engine components, packaging finished products, and supporting general production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or manufacturing experience who is looking to join a family-owned company with long-term growth potential.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Light Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assembly: Assemble lightweight small engine components according to work instructions and quality standards.
- Packaging: Package completed products for shipment and ensure finished goods are prepared accurately.
- Production Support: Assist with general production and plant duties as needed to support daily operations.
In addition, you will inspect parts for quality, maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures, and assist with other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous production, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to assemble products accurately and identify defects.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with small components and hand tools.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing production needs.
