Location: Holland, MI Shift: 1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM | Monday-Friday Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented machinist looking for an opportunity to work with precision manufacturing equipment? We're seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machinist to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll help ensure high-quality gage components are manufactured to exact specifications while maintaining strict quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a 1st Shift CNC Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:
? Precision Inspection: Measure and inspect ring gages and precision components to ensure they meet required specifications.
? Machining & Finishing: Perform machine operation, buffing, and grinding tasks to maintain product quality and dimensions.
? Blueprint Reading & Quality Control: Interpret blueprints and use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances and identify quality concerns.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
? Previous CNC machine operation, machining, or manufacturing experience.
? Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
? Precision Measuring: Experience using calipers, micrometers, scales, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy.
? Attention to Detail: Ability to work with tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards.
? Mechanical Aptitude: Experience working with hand tools, power tools, grinding equipment, and production machinery.
