Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain our computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machining techniques, and a commitment to producing quality products within specified deadlines. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications, blueprints, and job routers. Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adjust machine settings as needed. Interpret CNC programs and make necessary adjustments to optimize production. Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments. Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform minor repairs as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Document production activities and maintain records of machine settings and adjustments. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC programming, machining techniques, and tooling. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating machinery. Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
