NOW HIRING NOW HIRING – 1st Shift CNC Operator Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday CNC Operator: FabX Industries is hiring a CNC operator for our 1st shift. This person will help run production to ensure quality parts and on time delivery. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce aluminum components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. Set up machines and tools for production runs. Monitor the machining process for quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following company safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in aluminum fabrication. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with CNC programming and setup is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Experience with Haas machines and Mastercam is preferred. Pay Information: Minimum (80%): $21.32/hr. Median (100%): $26.65/hr. Maximum (120%): $31.98/hr. What You'll Be Doing As a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include: CNC Machine Operation: Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce aluminum components according to specifications and production requirements. Machine Setup & Production: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files while setting up machines and tools for production runs. Quality & Process Monitoring: Monitor machining processes for quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate parts and on-time delivery. In addition, you will perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment, collaborate with team members to improve production processes, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. What We're Looking For Qualifications: Previous CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to understand CAD files and production specifications. Experience setting up CNC machines and tools preferred. Basic knowledge of CNC equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Skills: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
