Job Summary
Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a new opportunity?
We’re
seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role,
you’ll
support automotive operations by safely moving and stacking heavy, awkward steel engine racks with pins.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Forklift Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Material Handling: Move and stage heavy steel engine racks throughout the facility.
- Rack Placement: Safely align and stack awkward racks equipped with pins.
- Production Support: Deliver materials to designated areas according to production needs.
In addition, you will inspect equipment, follow all safety procedures, and report damaged racks or unsafe conditions.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Experience handling heavy, awkward steel racks, engine racks, or similar loads with pins.
- Reliable transportation and availability for the full shift and occasional overtime.
Skills:
- Forklift Operation: Ability to safely control and position oversized or awkward loads.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately align rack pins and stack materials securely.
- Reliability: Strong attendance, punctuality, and commitment to the assigned schedule.
