General Labor Associate
Location: Kentwood, MI
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Mon - Fri
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a dependable and hardworking individual looking for an opportunity in a
manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a General Labor Associate to join a leading
sign manufacturing company in Kentwood, MI. In this role, you'll play an important part in
supporting production processes, ensuring products meet quality standards, and
maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a General Labor Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
• Product Inspection: Review products before and after processing to ensure they
meet established quality standards and meet customer expectations.
• Material Preparation: Assist with preparing products through sanding, washing,
drying, and other production support activities to keep operations running smoothly.
• Department Support: Clean parts and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas
while helping ensure an efficient production environment.
In addition, you may assist with inventory activities, ordering materials, receiving supplies,
and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in company processes and procedures.
Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify quality concerns and ensure products meet
company standards.
• Strong Work Ethic: Dependable and motivated to contribute to a productive team
environment.
• Reliability and Attendance: Commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and
supporting daily production goals.
