Machine Operator, $15/hr – 1st Shift - Norton Shores
Looking for a change of scenery? Look no further and apply today!
A local Norton Shores manufacturer of various metal products for the furniture and industrial
markets are looking for Machine Operators to join their growing team on 1st Shift! Hours are
6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday). Overtime will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Previous machine operation experience is preferred
? Ability to read and input various measurements and reports into computer
? Be able to sort and process parts "rejects"
? Help assist in other areas of production as needed
Preferred Skills:
? Ability to use calipers and micrometers
? Attention to detail is needed
? Be able to work in a team setting
? Must be comfortable standing for entirety of their shift.
Machine Operators will be responsible for loading, unloading and assessing machines for
any distinct faults by using calipers and micrometers on finished parts to ensure quality
standards are maintained to company and client standards.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity with overtime available.
What You'll Be DoingConduct quality inspections on incoming and manufactured parts
Perform accurate measurements and record inspection results in the computer system
Sort and process rejected parts
Assist other production departments as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Comfortable standing for the entire shift
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to work overtime as needed
