Location: Kentwood, MI Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay: 15.75 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking an Experienced Inspector to join our team in Kentwood, MI. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality production by inspecting and handling parts with accuracy, consistency, and care in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Experienced Inspector, your core responsibilities will include:
? Inspecting parts coming off the production line: Ensuring all parts meet quality standards and identifying defects to maintain product excellence. ? Packaging and preparing finished parts: Supporting the flow of production by keeping pace with the line and properly packing inspected items. ? Maintaining accuracy and efficiency: Performing all responsibilities with 100% accuracy to uphold company standards and production goals.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform repetitive, physical tasks—including lifting 50 lbs and up—throughout the shift while adhering to all safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
Previous experience with quality inspection and assurance of 2 years or more
Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and handle heavy parts throughout the entire shift
Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day
Ability to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to properly wear required PPE and follow all safety and health procedures
Skills:
? Attention to detail: Essential for identifying defects and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. ? Ability to work independently: Important for staying productive and focused without constant supervision. ? Strong work pace and stamina: Needed to keep up with production speed and manage continuous heavy lifting.
