1st Shift Industrial Cleaner - $18 - Alto
Workbox Staffing is hiring an Industrial Cleaner in Alto, MI.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ensure overall cleanliness of industrial equipment and manufacturing floor
• Daily sanitation tasks and machine/equipment cleaning
• Follow all safety procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of sanitation chemicals and personal protective equipment needed to use those chemicals
• Inspect and verify cleaning of equipment and areas.
• Operate various sanitation equipment
• Update sanitation standard operating procedures as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Preferred Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and sanitation processes
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Ability to work within
team
environment required.

The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for providing sanitation support to the production teams and manufacturing facility in a manner that supports all plant safety, quality, and environmental practices. This employee takes great care in making sure that all equipment and areas are accurately cleaned, maintained, and prepared for producing high-quality machinery products.
