We're seeking a Kitter to join our production team in Mishawaka, IN. In this role, you'll select production jobs, gather the required components, accurately assemble kits, and document the parts used to ensure product quality and traceability.What You'll Be DoingAs a Kitter, your core responsibilities will include:-Kit Assembly: Select assigned jobs from the scheduling board, gather required parts from WIP tables or the parts library, and accurately assemble kits according to production requirements.-Documentation & Traceability: Document parts used by serial number and accurately complete production logs, waste and scrap tracking, and other required documentation.-Quality Control: Follow documented procedures and quality standards while ensuring completed kits meet established quality and traceability requirements.-Inventory & Materials: Report inventory discrepancies and perform cycle counts as directed to help maintain accurate inventory levels.-In addition, you will also be expected to assist with packaging and verification of kits assembled by other team members, maintain a productive and safe work pace, support continuous improvement efforts, and complete assigned 5S responsibilities.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDUp to 2 years of manufacturing experience preferredAbility to identify products that meet established quality standardsAbility to read and follow documented procedures and standardsStrong attention to detail and accuracyClear verbal and written communication skillsWillingness and availability to work overtime when neededAbility to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods, typically in 2-hour increments multiple times per dayAbility to maintain a consistent and safe production paceSkills:-Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately assemble kits, document serial numbers, and follow product requirements.-Organization: Ability to manage multiple components, production orders, and documentation while keeping materials organized.-Quality: Commitment to producing high-quality work and following established quality and traceability procedures.-Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with others while contributing to shared production goals.-Communication: Communicates honestly, openly, and consistently with coworkers and company leadership.What We're Looking For in a CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to get the job done correctly and on time.
