A Muskegon manufacturer specializing in metal fabrication is seeking a Machine Operator. This is a full time temporary to permanent position with a complete benefits package available upon hire in. Medical, dental, 401K, paid holidays and vacation are available upon hire in.
Job Duties:
Operating and setting up brake presses
Operating a drill press
May be doing some assembly as well
Qualifications:
Ability to meet physical requirements of the job
Ability to comprehend & interpret documents such as work instructions, safety procedures & operation procedures
Ability to solve practical problems, good decision making, planning, organizing, effective communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to interact at various levels of organization
Ability to move to various departments may be required depending on production demands.
Strong attention to detail
GED or HS diploma is required

A locally based manufacturer specializing in custom fabrication, laser cutting, welding, and tool design is seeking a Laser Operator to join their growing team on 1st Shift. Hours are 5:00am–3:00pm (Monday–Thursday) with overtime as required. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a clean, comfortable facility where you’ll be part of a team focused on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Laser Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Operating and monitoring laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and part quality.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, micrometers, and calipers to verify accuracy.
Troubleshooting machinery to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Loading and operating Press Brake machines and removing finished parts into bins or boxes.
Maintaining production flow by working in a fast-paced environment and meeting established quotas.
Following safety and operational standards to ensure a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:1+ year experience with Press Brake machines recommended
Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers required
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical issues
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
GED or High School Diploma required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Skills:Mechanical aptitude and technical mindset
Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing production needs
Reliable team player with excellent communication and focus
Capable of meeting production targets with consistency
