As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for? o? perating metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses,? i?ncluding computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape, or? s? traighten sheet metal. Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering, and? s? imilar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition? f?rames, dust-collection piping, material-handling systems, roof decking, and sheet-metal? b? uildings. Install sheet metal products in accordance with specifications and building codes.? A? s a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of custom sheet metal? c? omponents used in a variety of industrial applications. You will work with precision,? a? ttention to detail, and efficiency to ensure all parts are fabricated to meet client? s? pecifications and quality standards.? W? hat You’ll Be Doing? A? s a??Lead Installer/Fabricator?, your core responsibilities??will include:? ?? Fabricate sheet metal components from raw materials according to project specifications? ?? Use hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery to cut, bend, punch, drill, and? ?shape sheet metal? ?? Assemble fabricated parts and perform final checks for quality and accuracy? ?? Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure precise fabrication of? ?Components? ?? Perform welding, riveting, and soldering as needed to complete assemblies and parts? ?? Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly? c? ared for and stored? ?? Measure and inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet the required dimensions and? ?quality standards? ?? Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines? ?? Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and company guidelines to prevent? ?accidents and ensure a safe working environment? ?? Assist in the setup and operation of fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears,? ?and laser cutters? ?? Troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication issues, ensuring minimal disruption to? ?production flow? ?? Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on fabrication equipment as necessary? ?? Assist in organizing the team for all activities? ?? Coordinating with the Team Lead for efficient and quality fabrication of customer products? Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work? ?? Good knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding preferred)? ?? Ability to measure and cut materials with high accuracy? ?? Mechanical aptitude and the ability to solve fabrication issues as they arise? ?? Strong organizational and time-management skills? ??
