Machine Tool Electrician, $28/hr – Sterling Heights, MI
Are you an experienced Machine Tool Electrician looking to join a well-established press equipment manufacturer with a commitment to quality and innovation? We’re hiring for a Machine Tool Electrician to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. If you have a background in machine wiring and electrical panel building, this is your chance to grow with a company that values technical expertise and precision craftsmanship.
Shift:
5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 3:30 PM (depending on shift needs, up to 10-hour days) | Monday – Friday

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience wiring industrial equipment and control panels
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical components including breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, meters, and fuse blocks
- Experience with conduit bending, wiring layout, soldering, and crimping
- Able to prioritize and complete tasks independently and on schedule
- Forklift (Hi-Lo) experience preferred
Skills:
- Layout, wire, and assemble electrical panels and machine electronics according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and layout schematics
- Drill, tap, and prepare mounting surfaces for electrical components
- Cut, strip, and connect color-coded wires, crimp terminals, and solder as needed
- Install and assemble wiring to industrial machinery and systems
- Break down machinery and electrical systems for shipping
- Follow all company safety procedures and wiring standards
- Maintain organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
