This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with CNC equipment, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing As a Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include: Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Respond to production equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime. Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC equipment, conveyors, ovens, motors, blowers, and other production machinery. Machine Repair & Fabrication: Repair and fabricate replacement parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication equipment. Facility Maintenance: Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, drywall, carpentry, and exterior building repairs. Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintain maintenance inventories by monitoring parts, supplies, and equipment needed for repairs and preventive maintenance. Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Follow all company safety procedures while maintaining clean, organized work areas and communicating effectively with production, supervisors, and management. In addition, you will assemble and repair machinery, wiring, plumbing systems, and electrical components, clean and lubricate equipment, adjust machinery, dismantle equipment for repairs, assist with new equipment design and installation, and attend specialized training as needed. What We're Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints and schematics. Additional education or experience in mechanical, electrical, or controls troubleshooting preferred. Knowledge of CNC machinery. Knowledge of relay logic, solid-state controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Knowledge of single-phase, three-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC electrical systems. Strong mechanical aptitude. Metal fabrication and wood construction experience preferred. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a motor vehicle screening. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skills Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Experience performing scheduled maintenance to maximize equipment reliability. PLC & Controls: Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, relay logic, and industrial control systems. Machine Repair & Fabrication: Experience using welding equipment, fabrication tools, and precision measuring instruments. Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with production personnel and management. Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following company procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to meet the physical requirements of a manufacturing maintenance environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces as needed. Ability to lift and move maintenance equipment, parts, and materials. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing instruments.
