Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team in Whitehall, MI. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe work environment.
What You'll Be DoingPerform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Review daily work orders and complete assigned maintenance tasks.
Dismantle machines and remove defective parts for repair or replacement.
Read work orders and specifications to determine maintenance requirements.
Inspect and test damaged machine parts and identify defective areas.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective maintenance.
Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify errors, wear, or damage.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)Previous maintenance experience required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to dismantle machinery and perform repairs.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and equipment specifications.
Basic computer skills and ability to access required documents.
