Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift - $17/hr - Ann Arbor, MI

Responsibilities:
Manipulate raw materials to fabricate goods using production machinery and tools
Assemble goods
Prepping goods for paint
Assist as needed for paint line
Carry out basic quality and testing checks
Store goods and raw materials properly
Maintain work areas and equipment
Qualifications/Skills:
High school diploma/GED required
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Must be able to multi-task and follow directions in a fast-paced work environment
Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
Reliable mode of transportation and valid driver’s license
Punctual and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 6:00 am-2:30 pm M-F with OT as required. In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for producing, helping paint, and assembling special needs medical equipment and wrestling headgear. Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable Manufacturing Technician to join a small, family-owned company that values long-term employees. This position involves producing, assembling, and helping paint special-needs medical equipment and wrestling headgear.
What You’ll Be DoingOperate production machinery and tools to fabricate products
Assemble finished goods
Prep products for painting and assist on the paint line
Perform basic quality and testing checks
Properly store materials and finished goods
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and production instructions
Work overtime as needed
What We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma/GED required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Team-oriented with good communication skills
