Workbox is hiring Welders in Fort Wayne, IN.
This company produces large concrete mixers found on cement trucks among other products. In this role, you would weld together components, as specified by work instructions for each job, using gas metal, arc-welding equipment. You would then be expected to inspect welds and rework as needed. 1-year minimum MIG experience required, extra bonus points if you know stick welding too. Overtime is available but NOT mandatory. This company also has a $2.25/hr bonus you can make with good attendance and an ability to meet rate requirements!! That would make your pay $19.25 per hour!

Responsibilities:
Will weld for 90% of shift
May need to do miscellaneous tasks- ie clean up work area and assist in general
cleaning of the shop- 10% of shift
Produce a quality product by welding using mig/blueprints
Skills:

Job SummaryAre you an experienced welder looking to join a reputable local fabrication company? We’re seeking a MIG Welder to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you’ll help produce large concrete mixers and other heavy-duty components used in cement trucks and industrial applications. You’ll weld and assemble parts according to detailed work instructions and blueprints, ensuring strong, high-quality welds that meet production standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
Performing MIG welding: Weld components and assemblies per job specifications using gas metal arc welding equipment.
Inspecting and reworking welds: Ensure all welds meet quality standards and rework as needed.
Reading blueprints and instructions: Follow detailed diagrams and samples to complete each job accurately.
Maintaining a clean workspace: Perform general housekeeping and assist with shop upkeep as needed.
Collaborating with team members: Support production goals and communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
You will weld for approximately 90% of the shift, with the remaining time spent on general cleaning and shop support.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications
Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience required.
Stick welding experience a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Must have your own welding helmet.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision.
Skills
