1st Shift - Package Assembler Location: Elkhart, IN  Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM–2:00 PM  Pay: $16.00 per hour Job Summary Are you looking for a steady, hands-on opportunity in a production environment? We're seeking a dependable and focused Package Assembler to join our team! In this role, you'll operate a foot pedal-controlled machine used in the packaging process for rotisserie chicken products. You'll play an important part in keeping production moving by ensuring packaging labels are properly wrapped and applied through consistent machine operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, hands-on work and can maintain concentration while performing repetitive tasks. No need to worry if you haven't operated this specific equipment before — proper machine operation and techniques will be taught during training! What You’ll Be Doing As a Package Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:Machine Operation: Operate a foot pedal-controlled machine while standing to complete the packaging label-wrapping process.Packaging Assembly: Wrap labels for rotisserie chicken packaging, following the proper techniques and procedures taught during training.Consistent Production: Maintain a steady workflow by completing repetitive packaging tasks accurately and efficiently.Attention to Detail: Stay focused on the task at hand to help ensure labels are properly wrapped and packaging work is completed consistently.Following Procedures: Learn and apply the correct machine operation techniques to perform the job safely and effectively.In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a consistent pace, follow training instructions, and remain attentive throughout the workday.
