Job Summary
Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills? We’re seeking a
Parts Expedito
r to join our production team! In this role, you’ll manage incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinate job flow through the plant, and communicate directly with customers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Parts Expeditor
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting receiving inspections, preparing job documentation, and coordinating production scheduling.
- Managing shipping and receiving activities, verifying job accuracy, and maintaining detailed records.
- Acting as a communication link between customers and internal teams—providing job status updates, delivery times, and required data.
- Operating a forklift to load/unload materials and moving jobs to designated work areas.
- Ensuring all outgoing materials meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and proper documentation for each job.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 40 lbs occasionally without assistance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
