1st Shift Press Operator
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Press Operator:
The Press Operator is responsible for operating, and monitoring stamping press machines to produce aluminum parts that meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stamping press equipment according to specifications
Maintain a productive work flow to ensure delivery deadlines are met
Follow instructions from team leader
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers)
Maintain accurate production and quality records by completing paperwork accurately
Follow all safety protocols
Keep work area clean and organized
Collaborate with team members and report any issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math and reading skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with various measuring devices (Calipers, tape measures, etc.)
Ability to work third shift
Wage Ranges:
Minimum: $15.74/hr.
Median: $19.67/hr.
Maximum: $23.60/hr.

Job Summary

What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Press Operation: Operate and monitor stamping press equipment according to production specifications to produce quality aluminum parts.
Quality Inspection: Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers to ensure they meet quality standards.
Production Support: Maintain an efficient workflow to meet production and delivery deadlines while following instructions from team leaders.
In addition, you will accurately complete production and quality paperwork, follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and communicate any production or quality issues to supervisors.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Experience operating stamping press equipment is a plus.
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers.
Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
