Production Associates
in Redford, MI for a hands-on role supporting steel processing operations. This position involves cleaning and preparing steel materials, assisting with production flow, and performing general labor duties in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with physical work, and ready to work in a manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
- Clean steel components using filing, wire brushing, and light grinding techniques.
- Hang steel using wire to prepare materials for processing.
- Assist with general labor tasks to support daily production operations.
Additional duties may include maintaining a clean work area and assisting the production team with other tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle steel materials
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, dirty, and dusty conditions
- Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Ability to maintain a slow to moderate work pace while completing tasks safely

Work Environment & PPE Requirements
- Environment: Hot/cold, dirty, dusty, and physically demanding industrial setting
- PPE Required: Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and metatarsal protection (caps acceptable)
- Dress Code: Long pants and layered clothing required – no shorts permitted
