Production Laborer, $15.25/hr – 1st Shift - Grand Haven Looking for a change of scenery? Look no further and apply today! Preferred Qualifications: ? Ability to safely operate manual production machinery and CNC machinery to cut, edge, and fabricate glass. ? Able to lift parts as needed. ? Reposition work as needed. ? Ability to inspect the glass for defects. Preferred Skills: ? Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, along with having the ability to write simple correspondence and work orders. ? Able to present information to one or more individuals. ? Must be able to interpret math problems, having the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure. Will be required to use a tape measure down to the 32nd. ? Must have excellent problem-solving skills. ? Must be comfortable and confident working alone as well as in a team environment. ? Able to comfortably lift between 50-80 pounds consistently throughout the shift. ? Must feel comfortable and confident inspecting glass at each stage of the process, and communicate issues with the supervisor. ? Must have the ability to be very dependable with excellent attendance. What You’ll Be Doing As a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include: Operating CNC and manual machinery: Use precision equipment to cut, edge, and fabricate glass components to exact specifications. Inspecting glass products: Examine materials at each stage of production to ensure quality and identify defects. Measuring and quality checks: Use a tape measure (down to 1/32”) and basic math to ensure accurate cuts and consistent output. In addition, you will also be expected to lift and reposition glass materials throughout the shift and communicate any production issues to your supervisor.
