Quality Tool & Stamping Job Description Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor Department: Quality Reports To: Quality Manager FLSA Status: Prepared By: HR Dept. Prepared Date: Approved By: Approved Date: Summary: Audits work activities of production workers to verify conformance of activities to quality assurance standards by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs first piece approvals. Performs receiving, in-process, final and gage calibration inspection. Create and maintain documentation required by the quality system as appropriate. Reads processing information such as worker logs, Product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance systems. Observes operators using gage equipment to verify that gage equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance system. Writes and submits daily audit reports to Quality Assurance Manager. Special assignments as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities Qualification: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. The Quality Auditor will inspect production parts and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
