1st Shift - Quality Inspector / Technician
Location: Zeeland, MI Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:15 PM Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Quality Inspector / Technician to join our team in Zeeland, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping ensure metal automotive parts meet customer and quality standards before they are shipped.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector / Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
? Inspecting Parts: Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
? Using Measuring Equipment: Utilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions and specifications.
? Documenting Quality Data: Record inspection results, maintain quality records, and report any defects or non-conforming materials.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with audits, problem-solving activities, continuous improvement projects, and the management of non-conforming materials.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
? Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience
? Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
? Ability to work in a machine shop environment.
Skills:
? Attention to Detail: Ability to identify defects and ensure products meet customer specifications.
? Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate quality concerns and support corrective actions.
? Measuring Tool Experience: Ability to accurately use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Work Environment
? Machine shop manufacturing environment.
? Loud facility with machinery running throughout the shift.
? Smell of cutting oil and metalworking fluids is common.
? Standing and walking for most of the day.
? Working around machines, metal parts, and production equipment.
