Saw/Press/Material Handling

Stay local and earn great pay working for this producer of new custom builds, repair existing builds and tear-outs!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Use of saws(vertical and horizontal)
- Use of sheers, presses (Plasma Cutter experience a plus)
- Ability to identify to steel and other materials
- Must know how to read a tape measure (down to 32nds).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Positive attitude toward job and all associates.
- Experience with iron works and punch press
- Read and understand instructions, prints, or diagrams
- Able to arrange by size and type (keep organized and easy to find)
- Properly tag materials for the next step of the process
- Pull materials to cut, bend, and form as needed
Preferred Skills:
- Able to safely lift 50 lbs.
- Read and understand instructions (verbal and written), blueprints or diagrams, reviewing samples, drawings to understand the specifications of output.
- Knowledge of saws, grinders, drills, flame-cutting equipment, and other power tools.
- Basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, measure, whole fractions, and decimals.
In this role you will be responsible for operating saws or sheers to cut, bend, or form materials as needed. Candidates
must be reliable, detail-oriented, hard workers, able to work on their own and with others. You will be working on a variety of projects each week (not production).
