1st Shift – Skilled Fabricator/Welder
Location: Holland, MI Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday) Pay: $25 - $28 per hour BOE
Job Summary
Are you an experienced Fabricator/Welder looking for a career opportunity with a growing manufacturer? We're seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components used in high-quality construction products while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Fabricator/Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
? Fabricating and Welding Steel Components: Read blueprints, fit parts, and perform MIG welding on structural steel assemblies.
? Working with Metal Materials: Cut, measure, and assemble carbon steel, structural steel, steel tubing, and plate steel to precise specifications.
? Inspecting Finished Products: Ensure weld quality, accuracy, and compliance with production standards.
In addition, you will also be expected to use grinders, saws, measuring tools, and other fabrication equipment while working in a hot and loud manufacturing environment with frequent welding operations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred
? 2-5+ years of fabrication and MIG welding experience required
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift
? Ability to read blueprints and accurately use measuring tools
Skills:
? Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to build products correctly.
? Welding & Fabrication: Strong experience welding and fitting structural steel components.
? Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality work while maintaining safety and production standards.
