Stamping Press Operator Location: Walker, MI Shift: 1st shift Monday- Thursday 5:00 am – 3:10 am // 2nd shift Monday- Thursday 3:00 pm – 1:10 am. Pay: $17.25 / 18.50 hour Are you a skilled and quality-focused manufacturing professional looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a Stamping Press Operator to join our team in [City, State]. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating stamping presses, supporting die set-ups, and ensuring parts meet all quality and customer requirements. What You'll Be Doing Operate stamping presses from last-piece approval through first-piece approval Assist with die changes, press setups, and equipment setup following established work instructions Verify the correct material is loaded onto coil carts and properly fed into production equipment Ensure adequate dunnage and packaging materials are available for production requirements Perform first-piece, last-piece, and in-process quality inspections at required intervals Verify gauges are properly certified and suitable for inspection activities Accurately record and report production quantities in the AX system Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards Communicate die readiness, tooling concerns, and repair needs to the Tooling Department Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures to support efficient operations What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Three to five years of stamping press or related manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hi-Lo (forklift) license preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate equipment, assist with die setups, and troubleshoot production issues. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accurate inspections, and production documentation. Effective communication skills with the ability to follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures. Why Join Us?
