What You'll Be Doing:
Check the schedule to have proper stock available for plating at the beginning of the shift.
Monitor conditions of incoming stock, check for cleanliness contamination and damage
Make sure that sufficient stock and packing materials are available at all times
Assist machine operator as necessary wit monitoring of machine
Report any out of tolerance conditions to Foreman
Correct or assist in correcting any problems associated with a machine breakdown
Transport finished stock as necessary after Foreman signs off on outgoing quality to: shipping, QC hold, bake oven or packaging area
Fill in for machine operator during breaks
Fill out route tags with all necessary information, ensure that each container has a route tag
Work with machine operator, foreman and scheduler to maintain the minimum production standards for assigned equipment
Assist in keeping the general machine area clean
Help to pull line, file stock for next production run
Keep partial lots controlled through proper use of work in progress (WIP) area
Take all empty containers to designated area
Here's What You Need to Apply:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be able to drive a Hi-Lo
The Stock Chaser will be working alongside the Machine Operators to make sure they are stocked and replenished for production and also to take finished goods to inventory. Other duties as assigned.. After your time with Workbox, you will be considered for hire-in!
