Production Laborer/Press Operator
Location: Holland, MI Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $18.50 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a dependable and hardworking individual looking for a manufacturing career with growth opportunities? We're seeking a Production Laborer to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll support the production of high-quality aluminum edging products while learning the operation and processes that can lead to advancement into a Press Operator position.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
? Packaging Finished Products: Pack 8-foot and 16-foot aluminum edging products according to company standards and customer specifications.
? Quality Inspection: Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before shipment.
? Shipping Preparation: Label, tape, and skid finished products to ensure they are properly prepared for shipment.
In addition, you will work closely with the Press Operator to maintain production flow and support other production tasks as needed. This position starts as a Packer with the opportunity to grow into a Press Operator role once trained and ready.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
? Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred. ? Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. throughout the shift. ? Ability to safely handle aluminum edging products ranging from 8 to 16 feet in length.
Skills:
? Attention to Detail: Ensure products meet quality standards and are packaged correctly. ? Teamwork: Work effectively alongside Press Operators and other production team members. ? Reliability: Maintain consistent attendance and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
