Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate Location: Plymouth, MI Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping ensure the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of outdoor power equipment parts and products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. What You'll Be Doing As a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include: Shipping & Receiving Operations: Assist with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and preparing outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Inventory Management: Receive, locate, pick, count, and distribute parts and equipment using RF scanners and warehouse software while maintaining inventory accuracy. Warehouse Organization: Sort, label, stock, and organize materials on racks, shelves, and in bins to maintain an efficient and accessible warehouse. In addition, you will also be expected to maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, assist with physical inventory counts, prepare parcels for shipping, and support facility upkeep tasks such as sweeping, mopping, painting, mowing, and general organization. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous warehouse experience preferred, with at least one year of warehouse clerk experience a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift up to 70 pounds Ability to safely operate or learn to operate lift trucks and pallet jacks Reliable attendance and ability to work a full-time schedule Skills: Attention to Detail: Essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and identifying shortages or damaged goods. Organization & Time Management: Important for efficiently handling multiple tasks and meeting shipping and receiving deadlines. Communication Skills: Necessary for working effectively with supervisors, team members, customers, and sales staff. Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using computers, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.
