1st Shift - Warehouse AssociateLocation: Elkhart, IN  Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM  Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Summary Are you a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity in warehouse operations? We're seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping daily warehouse operations running smoothly by pulling customer orders, receiving incoming shipments, verifying inventory, and ensuring materials are properly organized and stored. What You’ll Be Doing As a Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include:Accurately pulling customer orders using pick tickets and warehouse documentation.Verifying part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.Packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.Assisting with loading customer pickups and delivery trucks.Unloading incoming freight deliveries, including UPS, FedEx, and other shipments.Checking incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.Labeling and placing incoming inventory in its designated warehouse locations.Maintaining organized warehouse aisles, shelves, and storage areas.Assisting with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment when properly trained and authorized.In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, follow warehouse safety procedures, and assist other team members as needed to keep daily operations running efficiently. What We’re Looking ForQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.Forklift experience is a plus.Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to read and understand part numbers, quantities, pick tickets, and purchase orders.Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory management systems.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy.What We’re Looking For in a Candidate We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying organized, and understands the importance of accuracy in a warehouse environment.
