Location: Lake Odessa, MI Shift: 1st shift Pay: $23-$25 (based on experience) per hour

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Level 1 Welder/Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include:
● Welding and assembly: Producing products according to drawings and specifications.
● Safety and quality: Maintaining all safety and quality standards in your work.
● Project support: Managing product quality, requesting equipment and supplies as needed, and installing items to complete projects safely and efficiently.
● Shop maintenance: Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas, and assisting other trades personnel as required.
● Additional duties: Performing other related tasks to support an efficient and effective work environment.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
● 2–5 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
● Ability to operate equipment such as band saws, grinders, and drill presses
● Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures
● Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow directions

● Welding expertise: Experience with various welding processes and techniques
● Project management: Ability to plan and manage projects while maintaining accurate records
● Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills including algebra and geometry
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Physical capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced industrial environment
● Welding expertise: Experience with various welding processes and techniques
● Project management: Ability to plan and manage projects while maintaining accurate records
● Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills including algebra and geometry
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Physical capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced industrial environment
