Qualifications:
? Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions with the ability to write simple
correspondence and work orders
? Must be able to interpret math problems, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
units of measure
? Will be required to use a tape measure down to the 32nd
? Must have excellent problem-solving skills
? Ability to comfortably lift between 50-80 pounds consistently throughout the shift
? Must feel comfortable and confident inspecting glass at each stage of the process, and
communicate issues with the supervisor
Skills:
? Ability to safely operate manual production machinery and CNC machinery to cut, edge, and
fabricate glass
? Able to lift parts as repetitively
? Reposition work as needed
? Ability to inspect the glass for defects
A local company specializing of both ferrous and non ferrous castings, forgings, bar stock,
and burn outs is looking for CNC Operators to join their 2nd Shift growing team! Will be

CNC Operator
Muskegon, MI, $17+/hour, 2nd shift
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a CNC Operator opportunity with room to grow? We’re seeking a CNC Operator to join a manufacturing team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you’ll operate CNC equipment, work with tight tolerances, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to job specifications
Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify tight tolerances
Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production requirements
Monitor machine operation and identify quality or production issues
Perform basic part inspection and make sure completed parts meet specifications
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area, follow all safety procedures, and communicate any machine or quality concerns to the appropriate team member.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
CNC experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Mill and/or lathe knowledge is a plus
Ability to work with tight tolerances
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Skills:
Ability to use and read calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
