We're seeking a Rack Line Team Lead to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee daily production on the rack line while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. You'll lead by example, assist with production when needed, monitor product quality, and serve as the primary point of communication between production employees and management. If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and fluent in both English and Spanish, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs a Rack Line Team Lead, your core responsibilities will include:-Lead the Production Team: Supervise and support rack line employees, assign daily work, provide training and coaching, and ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.-Support Production Operations: Operate the rack line as needed, manually load and unload parts onto production racks, monitor workflow, and assist employees to keep production running efficiently.-Monitor Quality & Equipment: Use testing instruments to measure and record pH levels, inspect finished products for quality, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and communicate larger equipment problems to the maintenance department.-In addition, you will also be expected to maintain accurate production records, communicate effectively between shifts, enforce company safety policies, and promote teamwork throughout the department.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience working in production, industrial, or plating environments is a plusMechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issuesAbility to safely use quality testing instruments, including pH measurement equipmentAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and move production materials throughout the shiftAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during an entire shiftReliable attendance and strong leadership skillsSkills:-Leadership: Ability to motivate employees, provide direction, resolve issues, and maintain a productive work environment.-Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively support employees and management.-Quality Control: Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor product quality and accurately perform pH testing and production inspections.-Mechanical Troubleshooting: Comfortable identifying and resolving minor mechanical issues while recognizing when maintenance support is needed for larger repairs.Why Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their leadership career in manufacturing.
