Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
Maintenance Technician:
FabX Industries is hiring a maintenance technician for our 2nd shift. This person will report directly to the maintenance lead and assist with day to day maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and cleaning
Learn to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Support installation and setup of new machinery or equipment
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Comply with all safety protocols and company procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems, including logic controllers.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems.
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
Ability to read schematics and understand complex systems.
Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on communication and teamwork.
Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficiency using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Pay Information:
Minimum (80%): $20.40/hr.
Median (100%): $25.50/hr.
Maximum (120%): $30.60/hr.

Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined with electrical experience and looking to grow your career in industrial maintenance? We're seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team in Greenville, MI. In this role, you'll assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment while performing routine maintenance and supporting the installation of new machinery.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Machine Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
Maintenance & Repairs: Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, inspections, and cleaning.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical systems and logic controllers while using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems.
Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment while learning to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
In addition, you will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs, and follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
Previous machine maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Electrical experience required.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to learn to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Familiarity with tools such as an ohmmeter preferred.
Basic understanding of logic controllers and mechanical systems preferred.
Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
