Machine Setup Operator
Location: Holland, MI Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:15 PM Pay: $18.00 per hour Training: 1-2 weeks on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:15 PM)
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Machine Setup Operator to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping produce high-quality precision metal components while learning machine operations and supporting an efficient manufacturing process.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
? Operating Production Equipment: Load and unload metal parts while monitoring machines to maintain safe and efficient production.
? Performing Quality Inspections: Inspect finished parts and use measuring tools to ensure products meet quality standards.
? Learning Machine Operations: Learn multiple machines and perform basic adjustments and minor setups to support production needs.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain production flow, follow work instructions, keep your work area clean and organized, and assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
? Previous manufacturing, machining, or machine operation experience.
? Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
? Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
Skills:
? Attention to Detail: Strong inspection skills to identify quality issues and ensure parts meet specifications.
? Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to learn machinery, machine functions, and minor setup adjustments.
Work Environment
? Manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, cutting oils, coolants, lubricants, and other industrial chemicals.
? Candidates must be comfortable working around industrial oils and coolants and should not have known sensitivities to these substances.
