Maintenance Technician
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping maintain machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
Performing preventative maintenance: Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment: Diagnose and repair mechanical and minor electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
Supporting facility and equipment upkeep: Maintain buildings, grounds, and utilities while managing maintenance inventories and ordering necessary parts and supplies.
In addition, you will also be expected to document maintenance activities, recommend process improvements, follow all safety and quality standards, and collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement efforts.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of industrial maintenance or equivalent trade experience

Ability to read and interpret manuals and apply troubleshooting techniques

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Skills:
Mechanical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair machinery and equipment efficiently.
Preventative Maintenance: Strong understanding of maintaining equipment to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Welding & Technical Skills: Proficiency in ARC and MIG welding, along with basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
