Workbox Staffing is hiring CNC Mill Operator in Belmont, MI.
The CNC Mill Operator sets up, adjusts, and operates a CNC Mill to finish plates to thickness. Willing to Train the right person!

Duties:
Sets up, adjusts and operates a CNC Mill to mill plate flat and to tolerances
Plans operating procedures on CNC Mill; select, change cutters when required. Use magnetic table and chucks or clamps to position and secure workpiece on table of machine using care to support irregular work properly to avoid distortion, or arrange and properly secure multiple-piece set ups.
Works from part drawings, specifications and grinding-milling instructions.
Uses scale, micrometers and indicators to make setups, adjustments, and to check work.
Proceeds with minimum supervision and direction on the more standardized work, receiving instructions and guidance on new or special work; work is subject to process and final inspection and check.
Competency:
1-2 years of experience setting-up and operating CNC Milling machines or relative experience in the Tool and Die trade is preferred but we will train.
Ability to read a micrometer
General understanding of machinery
Ability to be trained (if necessary)
Ability to take direction from the Shop Foreman and Shift Leaders

Workbox Staffing is hiring a CNC Mill Operator in Belmont, MI. This position operates and sets up CNC milling machines to finish steel plates to required thickness and tolerances. Willing to train the right candidate!
Duties:
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling machines.
Read and follow part drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Select and change cutters as needed.
Secure workpieces using magnetic tables, chucks, or clamps.
Use micrometers, scales, and indicators to set up and inspect parts.
Maintain quality standards and work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of CNC milling or related Tool & Die experience preferred, but willing to train.
Ability to read a micrometer.
General understanding of machinery.
Ability to follow directions and learn new processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
