2nd Shift - SIPs Shaper
Location: Holland, MI Shift: 2:15 PM - 12:45 AM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime on Fridays depending on production needs. Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a SIPs Shaper to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of the production team, helping manufacture and finish Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) used in construction projects.
What You'll Be Doing
As a SIPs Shaper, your core responsibilities will include:
? Shape and Finish Panels: Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and finish insulated panels according to specifications.
? Read Measurements and Work Instructions: Read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch and follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure products are built correctly.
? Inspect Product Quality: Check finished panels for quality and accuracy before they are prepared for shipment.
In addition, you will be expected to move materials throughout the production process and maintain a clean and safe work area.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or woodworking experience preferred.
? Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
? Must be able to use hand tools and accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch.
Skills
? Measuring Skills: Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch to ensure products meet specifications.
? Hand Tool Experience: Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
? Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and following work instructions.
