Location: Grand Haven, MI Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical skills? We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to support efficient operations and minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime • Inspecting equipment and identifying maintenance needs to ensure safe and efficient operation In addition, you will also be expected to maintain maintenance records, support production teams, and follow all company safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous maintenance or industrial mechanic experience preferred • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment Skills: • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to keep production running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery for a leading powder coating manufacturer.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure peak performance and reduce downtime.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues quickly and effectively to maintain productivity.
Technical Documentation: Read, interpret, and apply information from technical manuals, schematics, and CAD drawings to complete maintenance and repair work accurately.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including confined space work, lifting, and equipment inspections, while maintaining compliance with all safety standards.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred
HVAC or Electrical background strongly preferred
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and CAD drawings
Ability to perform confined space entry, work at heights, lift heavy objects, and complete manual labor
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS systems (such as MicroMain or SAP)
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a respirator
Skills:Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to maintain and repair equipment effectively.
Problem Solving: Quick and efficient troubleshooting to minimize production interruptions.
Attention to Detail: Ensures all work meets operational, safety, and quality standards while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
