Production Associate
Location: Saline, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $18 per hour
Job Summary
We're seeking a dependable Production Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in Saline, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating multiple production machines, inspecting parts for quality, packaging finished products, and supporting daily production goals. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable staying active throughout their shift.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Monitor and operate multiple color-coded production machines simultaneously, ensuring each machine runs properly, and production schedules are met.
Quality Inspection: Inspect parts for defects, monitor machine performance, and identify any quality concerns or equipment issues.
Material Handling: Stack, mark, pack, weigh, and transport finished products to designated areas while maintaining production flow.
In addition, you will complete production paperwork, maintain a clean and organized work area, climb ladders as needed, and assist with other production duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to work in a hot and sometimes dirty manufacturing environment.
Comfortable working around the smell of burning plastic and rubber.
Ability to perform frequent walking throughout the shift.
Ability to climb ladders as needed.
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify defects and maintain quality standards.
Multitasking: Comfortable monitoring multiple machines with different cycle times.
Reliability: Strong attendance and ability to work independently.
Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing production demands.
Communication: Comfortable receiving direct feedback and working closely with supervisors and team members.
