Production Operator
Location: Belleville, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $17.50/hr
Job Summary
Are you looking for a stable, full-time opportunity in manufacturing? We’re seeking a dependable Production Operator to join our team in Belleville, MI. In this role, you’ll operate power presses and assist in producing automotive metal parts while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

Press Operation: Operate a variety of power presses to bend, cut, stamp, and form metal plates and sheet metal into automotive parts and assemblies while following MIOSHA and company safety procedures.

Material Handling & Production: Manually load, place, and remove metal plates and sheet metal into presses and inventory baskets, as well as load coils onto presses when applicable.

Quality & Documentation: Perform visual inspections on parts for quality defects and maintain accurate production, scrap, and inventory records through production reports and lot tags.
In addition, you will perform routine press maintenance and setup, keep the work area clean and organized, assist in maintaining quality standards, follow written production instructions, and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an assembly or stamping operation required.
- Manufacturing or automotive production experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production requirements.
- Ability to safely operate equipment while wearing required PPE.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attendance and reliability required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain a moderate work pace.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect parts for defects while maintaining quality standards.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating presses and production equipment safely.
- Organization & Documentation: Ability to complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
- Teamwork & Reliability: Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to support production goals.
