Production Racker Location: Newaygo, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $20.53 per hour Job Summary Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Racker to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping maintain efficient paint line production by staging, loading, unloading, and handling racks to keep production running smoothly and on schedule. What You'll Be Doing As a Production Racker, your core responsibilities will include: ? Rack Handling: Load and unload racks from the paint line using manual labor or a hoist while maintaining production flow. ? Production Support: Move racks and carts between the rack barn and designated production areas to support line uptime and efficiency. ? Material Staging: Read production schedules and stage racks appropriately to ensure production requirements are met. In addition, you will also be expected to load and unload burn-off trailers, assist with shipping and receiving racks, maintain workplace organization through 5S practices, and work overtime as needed to support production demands. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: ? Mechanical ability to perform moderately complex equipment setups and adjustments. ? Ability to frequently lift and handle materials weighing 50 pounds or more. ? Ability to obtain and maintain a hilo/forklift license if required. Skills: ? Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. ? Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities to work successfully within a small team environment and collaborate with coworkers. ? Equipment Operation: Ability to safely utilize job-related equipment including forklifts, hand tools, production machinery, hoists, and other production equipment. Why Join Us?
